A Note from Dr. Stephanie Correa
Welcome to Animal Cancer Care Clinic. I imagine you are here because you are concerned about an animal you know, perhaps having received unsettling medical news about your own pet. If that is the case, I am very sorry.
It is heartbreaking to learn that a beloved pet may have cancer, and it can leave you feeling helpless and worried about your greatest fear. My life’s work has been caring for animals with cancer and helping their owners come to understand the situation and make informed, responsible decisions about their pet’s well-being. I am glad you are here and I look forward to embracing you in our culture of HOPE, CARE and Optimal OUTCOMESTM.
HOPE starts at a Consultation visit. Meeting with one of our Veterinary Medical Oncologists will ease your mind by helping you learn about your pet’s condition and treatment options – often addressing preconceptions you may have about animal cancer care (e.g., too late, too expensive, too risky, too painful, too inconvenient). After providing an Expert Diagnosis, we will discuss available Treatment Options– each with the details needed for your decisions including prognoses, costs, and schedule.
Because cancer in animals can advance quickly, we encourage you to Schedule a Consultation with us soon. Be assured that the comprehensive treatment of animal cancer has been our exclusive practice since I founded ACCC in 2004. We now care for more animals with cancer than any other practice in the United States. Our cancer specialists see daily what other vets see rarely, so we are better able to quickly and accurately diagnose conditions, predict animal responsiveness to different therapy options, and expertly deliver appropriate treatment. A journey of HOPE, CARE and Optimal OUTCOMESTM for every Client and Animal Patient is the mission of our company, and my promise to you.
Sincerely,

Dr. Stephanie Correa, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology) Founder and President, Animal Cancer Care Clinic
Hope Starts Here
A diagnosis is not the end of the road
There are many new approaches to treating cancer in animals of any age, often at costs far less than expected. Because animals do not experience many of the negative side effects that humans do, the quality and longevity of an animal’s life can be significantly improved with even basic cancer care.

As a dedicated cancer treatment hospital, our specialists seamlessly integrate these modalities to deliver multi-modality care — the approach proven to achieve the most Optimal Outcomes for each patient.

The ACCC consultation
Optimal Outcomes Care Guide™
Every consultation with ACCC includes a written Optimal Outcomes Care Guide™ created by your Oncologist — an Expert Diagnosis and Care Plan with associated prognosis, costs, and schedule. You are under no obligation to pursue treatment, but if you decide to go forward, we can often initiate care at this first appointment.
1
Expert diagnosis
Your Oncologist procures a thorough, accurate diagnosis — identifying the disease type, location, stage (0–5), and grade (1–3) — only pursuing further diagnostic tests when medically necessary. In many cases, treatment can begin at this very first visit.
2
Treatment options
Your Oncologist presents Treatment Options tailored to your pet’s diagnosis, your priorities, and cost/benefit considerations — including rationale, integrated treatment modes, prognosis, schedule, and cost. Your Oncologist will spend the time needed to fully answer your questions.
3
Informed decisions
Once you have an Expert Diagnosis and have discussed Treatment Options, you are well-positioned to make responsible, informed decisions. You will not be locked in — adjustments can always be made as your pet responds to treatment.
4
Care plan
If you proceed, we confirm all elements of your Care Plan — prescriptions, procedures, schedule, locations, costs, and communication protocols. Your primary care veterinarian will be immediately and completely updated throughout treatment.
