To ACCC@animalcancercareclinic.com,

Tasha was discharged from your care essentially to home hospice care in August because her B-cell lymphoma had returned and it was not responsive to any further treatment protocols available.

Her disease progressed and on the night of August 31 she precipitously decompensated and the next day Dr. Johanna Wade administered humane euthanasia in my home.

I want to thank all of you including the veterinarians, veterinary technicians and support staff for the expert veterinary care Tasha received over the last two years. Drs. Correa, Sones and Fernandez (in order of treatment over the last two years) deserve my highest professional praise for the quality of care and continuity of care Tasha received.

What makes this experience more remarkable is that it occurred under the additional duress of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the long distance travel requirments of the Stuart clinic location, details easily overlooked by an anxious owner with a sick dog.

Her quality of life during the last two years was very good and better than I expected considering the nature of her disease process.

Pursuing her treatment regimen with your medical group was the best decision that could have been made and it was fortunate that she had the opportunity to be treated at your Marin and Palm Beach county locations.

Again, I want to thank all of you for taking care of Tasha, it has meant a great deal to me.

Most sincerely,

Stefan Rose, M.D
